This is a 3‑piece step drill set made from HSS 4241, designed for drilling in high‑grade stainless steel, structural and cold‑rolled steel, non‑ferrous metals, steel sheet and plastics. The bits have a blackened surface finish and a cylindrical shank with three flats for better grip in the chuck.

Sizes and steps

The YT‑44732 set contains three step drills with these ranges and step sizes:

  • Bit 1: diameter 4–12 mm, steps 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 mm

    • Working length 43 mm, total length 64 mm

  • Bit 2: diameter 4–22 mm, steps 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 mm

    • Working length 52 mm, total length 74 mm

  • Bit 3: diameter 6–38 mm, steps 6, 8, 11, 14, 17, 20, 23, 26, 29, 32, 35, 38 mm

    • Working length 76 mm, total length 100 mm

Maximum recommended cutting thickness is 4 mm for sheet and plate.
