Warranty Policy

Uniglobe Tools Warranty Policy

Uniglobe Tools stands behind the quality of its products. This warranty applies only to verified defects in materials and workmanship.

This warranty is not a general return, exchange or refund policy. Change-of-mind returns, incorrect product selection, unwanted items and products that are no longer required are not warranty claims and are handled only in accordance with the Uniglobe Tools Returns Policy.

What This Warranty Covers

Uniglobe Tools branded products are covered against verified manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship when used correctly, for their intended purpose, and in accordance with all product instructions, ratings, warnings and manufacturer guidelines.

Where a product is assessed and accepted as having a manufacturing defect, Uniglobe Tools will provide an appropriate remedy, which may include repair, replacement, store credit or refund, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

Unless a specific product category has a different period stated below, Uniglobe Tools hand tools are covered by a limited lifetime warranty. “Lifetime” means the reasonable expected usable life of the product under normal use and proper care. It does not mean the lifetime of the purchaser.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, this warranty does not cover:

  • Change of mind, incorrect selection, incorrect sizing, unwanted products, duplicate purchases, products no longer required, or products found cheaper elsewhere.
  • Normal wear and tear, fair wear from regular use, cosmetic wear, fading, scuffing, scratches, corrosion, worn coatings, or gradual deterioration.
  • Misuse, abuse, accidental damage, neglect, improper storage, inadequate maintenance, or improper cleaning.
  • Overloading, excessive force, improper application, use outside a product’s intended purpose, or use beyond its rated capacity or operating limits.
  • Damage caused by modification, alteration, unauthorised repair, non-approved parts, incompatible accessories, or removal of product identification markings.
  • Damage caused by failure to follow instructions, safety warnings, care instructions, maintenance requirements, or manufacturer recommendations.
  • Damage caused by chemicals, solvents, corrosive materials, heat, water ingress, weather exposure, contamination, impact, electrical surge, power supply issues, or unsuitable workplace conditions.
  • Consumable or wearable components, including blades, drill bits, cutting edges, discs, abrasives, sanding accessories, brushes, belts, laces, soles, insoles, zips, batteries subject to normal capacity reduction, and similar items.
  • Fit, comfort, colour, style, sizing, or personal preference.
  • Labour, installation, removal, reinstallation, freight, travel, downtime, loss of use, hire equipment, loss of income, loss of profits, third-party costs, or indirect or consequential loss.

For workwear and safety footwear, this warranty does not cover fair wear from work use; worn soles, heels, laces, zips or insoles; scuffs; stains; fading; water resistance loss through normal use; contamination; incorrect washing or drying; improper storage; fit issues; comfort preference; or damage caused by external objects, chemicals, heat, water or unsuitable work conditions.

How To Make a Warranty Claim

To make a warranty claim, contact Uniglobe Tools or the authorised reseller from whom the product was purchased before returning the product.

You must provide:

  • Proof of purchase or other reasonable evidence of purchase.
  • Your name and contact details.
  • A description of the claimed fault.
  • Photos or video of the issue where requested.
  • The product for inspection, testing or assessment where required.

Uniglobe Tools may inspect, test, repair, disassemble or arrange independent assessment of a returned product to determine whether the claimed issue is a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty.

Products returned without purchase evidence, sufficient claim information, or prior return instructions may be delayed, returned to the sender, or declined to the extent permitted by law.

Warranty Outcomes

If Uniglobe Tools determines that a product has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, Uniglobe Tools may repair the product, replace it with the same or comparable item, provide a store credit, or refund the original purchase price, subject to the Australian Consumer Law.

If the assessment finds that the product is not defective or that the issue is excluded under this policy, Uniglobe Tools may decline the warranty claim. Where practical, the product may be returned to the customer at the customer’s cost.

Any repair, replacement, credit or refund provided under this voluntary warranty does not extend or restart the original warranty period.

Australian Consumer Law

Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if they fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

The benefits provided by this warranty are in addition to other rights and remedies available under the Australian Consumer Law.
