Description

All of these are Yato HSS step drill bits with TiN coating, meant for stainless steel, structural/cold‑rolled steel, non‑ferrous metals, sheet metal and plastics. They differ mainly in their diameter range and step pattern so you can pick the one that matches the hole sizes you need.

Step drill 6–35 mm

  • Model: YT‑44739

  • Range: 6–35 mm

  • Material: High‑speed steel (HSS), TiN‑coated for reduced friction and longer life.

  • Use: For larger holes and panel work where you might need anything from ~6 mm up to 35 mm in one tool (e.g. cable glands, conduit, fittings).

Step drill 4–22 mm

  • Model: YT‑44741

  • Range: 4–22 mm, in 2 mm steps, typically 10 steps total.

  • Step diameters: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, 16, 18, 20, 22 mm.

  • Material: HSS 4241 with TiN coating.

  • Use: Very common electrical/metalwork range for holes for screws, cable entries, small fittings, etc.

Step drill 14–26 mm

  • Step drill in the mid‑range, intended for medium‑size holes where you start above small pilot sizes (exact model not in the pulled results, but same series/spec).

  • Typical range: 14–26 mm in incremental steps, used when you regularly need medium‑diameter holes but not very small or very large ones (e.g. specific grommets or fittings).

  • Construction: Same HSS with TiN coating and stepped profile as other drills in this Yato series.

Step drill 10–20 mm

  • Range: about 10–20 mm, aimed at mid‑small holes when you don’t need below 10 mm.

  • Good for: repeated work in a narrow range (brackets, tubing holes, small bushings) without carrying a 4–22 or 6–35 when you don’t need the extremes.

  • Same general build: HSS step drill, for steel, non‑ferrous, sheet and plastics.

Step drill 10–30 mm

  • Model: YT‑44746

  • Range: 10–30 mm, multi‑step.

  • Materials: High‑grade stainless, structural and cold‑rolled steel, non‑ferrous metals, sheet steel, plastics.

  • Use: General‑purpose mid‑to‑large holes where 30 mm maximum is enough, common for conduit, fittings and pass‑throughs.

Step drill 20–30 mm

  • High‑range step drill focused on 20–30 mm holes (same material/application family as the 10–30 mm and 6–35 mm bits)

  • Good when you routinely need only larger diameters and want faster drilling and fewer steps in that band.
