Description

This is a 4‑piece general‑purpose pliers set from Yato, combining the most commonly used plier types for workshop, electrical and mechanical work. All pliers are made from chrome vanadium steel for strength and durability and supplied as a matched set.

Contents and types

Sources describe the set as including four different pliers styles:

  • Combination pliers 200 mm (8")

  • Long nose pliers 160 mm (6")

  • Diagonal cutting pliers (side cutters) 160 mm

  • Bent nose pliers 160 mm (curved beak pliers)

In some catalogs these are referred to generally as square pliers, cutting pliers, sharp (long‑nose) pliers and curved‑beak pliers, all at around 160–200 mm length.

Construction and handles

  • Material: Chrome vanadium (CrV) steel, hardened for high strength and wear resistance.

  • Handles: Three‑colour coated handles inspired by Chinese Peking Opera facial designs, providing a comfortable, non‑slip grip and easy identification.

  • Supplied in: A canvas or similar pouch/case for storage and transport.

Typical applications

This set covers everyday tasks such as gripping and bending wire, holding components, cutting conductors and working in confined spaces. It is suitable for electrical work, general maintenance and workshop use where a compact but complete basic plier kit is needed.
