Key functions & capacities

  • Designed for cutting boards, panels, chipboard, metal, sheet metal, PVC, cellular polycarbonate and plexiglass.
  • With suitable blades it enables cutting circles and openings for sinks, taps and similar fittings.
  • No‑load speed: 0–2500 strokes/min; stroke length about 20 mm.
  • Typical cutting depth: up to 50 mm in wood and 5 mm in metal.

  • Quick, tool‑less T‑shank blade change system.
  • Three‑stage pendulum (undercut) adjustment: positions 1–3 for fast straight cuts, position 0 for tight curves.
  • Lock‑on button for continuous operation and low vibration for better control.
  • Independent integrated dust‑blowing system clears the cutting line without needing a vacuum.
  • Comfortable iron handle, robust foot tilts ±45° for bevel cuts.
  • 4‑level battery charge indicator and battery cell overheat protection.

  • 18 V Li‑Ion system tool, working on the common YATO 18 V platform.
  • Supplied with 18 V 2 Ah Li‑Ion battery and fast charger (about 1 h for 2 Ah pack).
  • Spare batteries available: 2 Ah (YT‑82842), 3 Ah (YT‑82843), 4 Ah (YT‑82844), 6 Ah (YT‑82845).
  • Also offered as body‑only YT‑82823 (no battery/charger).
