Description

This Yato hand riveter is a plier‑type pop‑rivet gun for quick, durable joining of thin materials using blind rivets from 2.4 mm up to 4.8 mm in diameter. It is suitable for aluminium, steel and stainless‑steel rivets in general fabrication, automotive and repair work.

Basic details

  • Product name: Hand Riveter 2.4–4.8 mm

  • Model / symbol: YT‑3600

  • Rivet diameters: 2.4 mm, 3.2 mm, 4.0 mm, 4.8 mm (standard blind/pop rivet sizes)

  • Compatible rivet materials: aluminium, steel and stainless steel (depending on rivet spec)

  • Typical tool length: around 200–260 mm overall, one‑hand plier style for access in confined spaces.

Construction and features

  • Body: robust riveter body designed for repeated professional use with blind rivets.

  • Handles: forged or carbon‑steel handles, usually with ergonomic, non‑slip grips for comfortable one‑hand operation.

  • Jaws: multi‑piece hardened steel jaw mechanism to grip and pull the rivet mandrel reliably.

  • Nose pieces: supplied with four interchangeable nozzles for 2.4, 3.2, 4.0 and 4.8 mm rivet sizes, typically stored on the tool or in the package.

Use and applications

  • Purpose: permanent joining of sheet metal, profiles and other thin materials (metal, plastics, etc.) where access is only available from one side.

  • Typical jobs: bodywork patches, brackets, panels, gutters, light fabrication, and general workshop and DIY fastening tasks.

  • Operation: insert rivet in the workpieces, place the nose over the mandrel, then squeeze the handles; the tool pulls and snaps the mandrel to form the rivet head on the blind side.
