The universal pliers have been tested in a laboratory accredited by the German VDE testing institute and meet the requirements of the EN 60900 standard.

VDE-certified tools are a guarantee of safety when working on electrical installations or devices under voltage up to 1000V. YATO VDE tools have non-slip properties, and the fully insulated series is perfect for working with materials susceptible to scratches. VDE insulation not only effectively protects against electric shock, but also protects the user against accidental scratching of plastic materials or non-ferrous metals such as copper, brass or aluminium.
